All persons, food handlers and non food handlers, working in foodservice should have basic food safety training since it is their responsibility to keep and serve safe food for the customers. As part of its community work, the nutrition department at Tyre campus conducted a food safety employee training providing basic safe food handling practices. This training was conducted by Mrs Aya Jammoul and Mrs Nancy Hallal as well as two senior nutrition students Miss Raneem Shour and Miss Maya Noureddine.
