Overview

The faculty of Pharmacy at the Lebanese International University offers programs leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.Sc. Pharm.) and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.). The B.Sc. Pharm is a five-year program which requires the completion of 179 credits. It prepares graduates to practice the profession of pharmacy and enables them to join, as members, the Lebanese Order of Pharmacists. The Pharm. D. is a one - year program after the completion of the B.Sc. Pharm. that requires the completion of 24 credits.

It provides the pharmacists with clinical experience in patient monitoring and consultations on healthcare issues and policies. The program broadens the students’ knowledge in biological, physical, and chemical sciences as well as in medical and pharmaceutical applications. Students learn about normal and abnormal physiological systems, drug interactions, pharmacological and therapeutically applications in diseases. Through their clinical clerkships, students will obtain skills of communications, counseling and dispensing of drugs.
