Overview
The programs offered by the Faculty of Business Administration enable each
student to develop expertise in the various fields of concentration offered
with a sound foundation on which to build a successful career in business.
The programs of study are dynamic in order to keep pace with the rapidly
evolving environment of Business Management, Accounting Information Systems,
Banking and Finance, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Hospitality
and Tourism, and International Business Management. The qualified and
experienced faculty members are dedicated to providing theoretical as well
as practical knowledge of high standard in a stimulating atmosphere. The
Business Administration Faculty programs can provide high quality managers
and business leaders who will be equipped with analytical, quantitative,
managerial and human skills to make sound and responsible decisions.

Degrees offered
The Faculty of Business Administration grants Bachelor of Business
Administration Degrees in all the programs of studies listed above. In
addition, the following graduate degrees are granted:
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Banking and Finance, Business
Management, Accounting Information Systems, Marketing, Management
Information Systems, , and Health Management
Student must successfully complete 99 credit hours (a 3-year program) for
the Bachelor’s degree, and additional 39 credits hours (a 2-year program)
for a Master’s Degree.
• Ph. D. in Business Administration, in Banking and Finance, Business
Management, Accounting Information Systems, Marketing, and Management
Information Systems.
Student must successfully complete 45 credit hours (33 credit hours of
course requirements, and 12 credit hours of Doctoral Dissertation), beyond
the MBA Degree.
Admission
Requirements
Applicants to the Bachelors’ programs must have earned the Lebanese
Baccalaureate II (any strand) or its equivalent as specified by the Lebanese
Ministry of Education and Higher Education. They are also required to pass
the Math for Social Science and Economics Placement Test (MSPT).
Graduation
Requirements
• In the Bachelor of Business Administration programs, students must
successfully complete a minimum of 99 credit hours, as indicated below:
• A minimum of 24 credit hours in General Education Requirements
• A minimum of 42 credit hours in Business Core Requirements (minimum 40% of
total credit hours requirements) with a minimum GPA of 2.33
• A minimum of 33 credit hours in Major Area Requirements(minimum 25% of
total credit hours requirements) with a minimum GPA of 2.00
• In the Master’s Degree of Business Administration programs, students
holding a Bachelor degree in Business Administration related majors must
successfully complete 39 credit hours (500 or above Business courses) as
indicated below:
• Minimum 21 credit hours as required by each major area
• Minimum 12 credit hours selected from the major area requirements
• Minimum 6 credit hours technical electives
• In the Ph. D. Degree in Business Administration program, students holding
a Master’s degree of Business Administration must successfully complete 45
credit hours (600 or above Business courses) as indicated below:
• Minimum 18 credit hours as required by each concentration area
• Minimum 9 credit hours selected from the concentration area requirements
• Minimum 6 credit hours technical electives
• Minimum 12 credit hours as Doctoral Dissertation

OVERVIEW
The graduate program of the Faculty of Business Administration is designed
to provide advanced business studies for students, who have demonstrated
distinct academic ability, and for working people who aim to update their
knowledge and achieve more in their current position. The program offers
five areas of concentration namely, Finance, Management, Accounting,
Management Information Systems, and Marketing
The program provides the students with advanced knowledge and skills in the
various fields of concentration offered. This includes the development of
the students’ ability and flexibility, to skillfully apply the tools of
decision making in a changing and developing business and technological
environments. In addition, the program aims at fostering the students’
ability to think logically and critically, and to develop their capabilities
for independent study and continuous growth and self-improvement.
